We are very proud to share our latest certification, the Leaping Bunny.
The Leaping Bunny program is a Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC) of eight national animal protection groups banded together to promote a single comprehensive standard and an internationally recognized Leaping Bunny Logo. They work with companies to help make shopping for animal-friendly products easier and more trustworthy.
Antonym was founded on the belief that amazing makeup can be made with clean ingredients and no animal testing. As a dedicated cruelty-free makeup company and brand we felt it was important to expand Antonym’s involvement in the industry and add the Leaping Bunny certification because there is not enough clarity in the market about animal testing by consumer products companies.
Hundreds of thousands of animals are mistreated, kept in cages, exposed to harsh chemicals and injured each year. Over 75% of countries world wide still allow animal testing. Those are terrible stats.
And animal testing is just not necessary. The Leaping Bunny and other programs help bring clarity and allow consumers to make educated decisions.
